Such a fantastic fall weekend. 🍁 Elle and her dance team performed at the @mashpeecommons Oktoberfest on Saturday. Then we went apple picking at Crow Farm (hidden gem on the Cape) today with the fam. Oh yes, and we decorated Elle’s room for Halloween! 🍎👻🎃

Welp! 🥹 Still can’t really believe I have a 5th grader and an almost 11-year-old! Checking in on my 2015/2016 mamas… are we going to be okay?! How are we already closer to high school than we are to kindergarten?! 😭

Heard it through the grapevine… aka ChatGPT that @finpointboston has $1 oysters every Thursday through Saturday 2-5pm. So we had to go check it out, and the oysters were delicious, they also had a fantastic drink menu, and my daughter got chowder and truffle fries. All 10/10. Also our server was incredible… if she sees this, I hope she knows how amazing her energy is! 🦪🦪🦪

🇵🇹 SAVE THIS LISBON ITINERARY 🇵🇹 After our six week summer in Portugal, many of you asked for our Lisbon itinerary, so I’m putting all of our favorite stops in one place! 📍LISBON 🏰 São Jorge Castle Go for the castle, but stay for the views! One of our favorite spots to see Lisbon from above. You may also get lucky and spot a peacock showing off his feathers. 🛺 1-Hour Tuk-Tuk Tour Highly recommend doing the one-hour tour. It’s such a fun way to see the historic parts of Lisbon without spending hours walking the hills. 🐠 Lisbon Oceanarium Especially fun if you’re traveling with kids! Definitely worth adding to your itinerary. 🍴 Time Out Market Perfect when everyone wants something different. So many food choices all under one roof. Honestly this was our favorite spot for food. ⛵️ Sunset Sail on the Tagus One of my favorite experiences of the entire trip. Watching the sun set over Lisbon from the water was so beautiful. 🏛️ Belém Plan a full afternoon here. You can visit Jerónimos Monastery (we didn’t), walk along the water to Belém Tower, and don’t leave without getting the famous Pastéis de Belém. 🎨 LX Factory Great for lunch, shopping, street art, and photos. It’s also a fun change of scenery from the more historic parts of Lisbon. 🚗 DAY TRIPS 🏰 SINTRA Plan a full day. Pena Palace & Quinta da Regaleira are a must, there are so manybeautiful gardens, castles, and that fairytale feeling you really can’t get anywhere else. 🌊 CASCAIS A beautiful coastal town with gorgeous views, cute streets, and the perfect slower-paced day away from the city. 🏖️ COSTA DA CAPARICA Want a beach day? Take an Uber over from Lisbon and spend the day by the ocean. So many great beach clubs right on the water too so you never have to leave the beach for lunch. ✨ MY TIP: Don’t try to squeeze all of this into a couple of days. Lisbon is a city where it’s worth slowing down and enjoying the little moments in between the sightseeing. #cascais #Lisbon #portugal #sintra #portugalwithkids
