Here are my recs for this weekend, whether you’re looking for a family outing or a little solo mom time! 1. Boo in the Barnyard at @weirriverfarm @The Trustees - Every Saturday in October. Perfect family event with farm animals, crafts and a scavenger hunt! Make sure to buy tickets ahead of time because they do sell out! 2. Cross Street Flower Farm in Norwell is one of my favorite spots on the South Shore! Even if you don’t want to cut your own, the gift shop is worth the visit, and you can pick up a ready made bouquet 🌸 @crossstreetflowerfarm 3. Rest & Receive with @evangelinedanei Fitness Unlimited Milton. If you are looking for a little R&R this is the perfect opportunity! Sign up via the link in her bio. 4. St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hingham hosts their Not-So-Spooky Haunted House Friday and Saturday nights through Halloween weekend. Specifically geared toward preschool and elementary aged kids. 5. There are endless activities to get into this weekend, but here are a few on my radar! 1. Spooky Sculpt and Sip at @vitaminseabrewing hosted by @driftstudios__ ! @champagnemobilesauna will also be making an appearance! Super excited to take a class with these ladies and warm up after this chilly week. This one’s just for the grown ups! 2. The Hull Lifesaving Museum Pumpkin Walk - basically a mini jack o lantern trail through the museum! We loved it last year! Appropriate for all ages! Fri and Sat night! @hulllifesavingmuseum1889 3. The Pop Up Closet Sale - Women’s consignment sale in Marshfield! See my other video for info! @thepopupclosetsale 4. The Corn Festival at the South Shore YMCA! We had such a great time roaming around Weir River Farm over the weekend for Boo in the Barnyard! The kids met goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and, our personal favorite, the pigs! We had some fun coloring masks, getting temporary tattoos and making silly pumpkin faces! With a few littles we got tickets for the sensory friendly hour, and it was such a low key, peaceful activity for the kids. Ladies, this sale is for you!! @thepopupclosetsale is back next week for their semi-annual women’s consignment sale! It’s run by the woman behind the amazing Children’s Clothesline sale, but this time the moms can focus on shopping for themselves. This year it will be in Marshfield in the same shopping center as Star Market and Marshall’s, walking distance from some of my favorite restaurants - Salty Days, Liv’s Creative Cuisine and Levitate Backyard - the perfect excuse to make it a whole girls’ day.
