Part 2 of the 1v1 chronicles. Starting off 0-1 was rough, had to go 0.500 at least Thanks to @_csacsaa_ for running the 1’s. All love & respect ✊🏼

I’ve long been outspoken about how much I hate the 1v1 space, so it’s only right I get it handed to me in my first ever video. It’s crazy how so many people around the world have seen MK’s videos, that that’s their first thought when they see a tripod. “Is this guy like MK?” Hoping to be quite the opposite, actually #humbleMK I will say, trying 1’s was really fun S/o @_kmate14_ for repping 🇭🇺 & being super humble in victory, and a beast down low. Do you guys want to see more content like this?

Six years ago I moved to North Carolina to start my residency. 2020 was peak covid, and making friends was really difficult without basketball. But over the next few years as things opened back up, I jumped at any opportunity to hoop with new groups. The Calvary guys, Old Clemmons, WCCC, the Filipino league, Westchester, William G White YMCA, & Rise runs. Eventually you start to see the usual guys everywhere, and you realize that they’re just like you and love to hoop. That’s the foundation behind community, a common love. But it’s nothing without the consistency of showing up time & again. That’s the building part. So much love for this city, and all the memories we made along the way.

This has got to be the most beautiful basketball court in the world. hidden within the castle walls of Old Town Dubrovnik. The salty breeze of the Adriatic Sea wipes away the sweat off your face. Day 1 of 9 in Croatia: met some cool Syndeysiders 🇦🇺 Jack & Charlie. Day 2 will most definitely involve some sunlight so we can show that backdrop. Maybe a 1v1 with my mom?

Having something you care about is one of the biggest blessings in life. And how you use it as a vessel to work on yourself can bleed into how you show up in all the other areas of life. Find your thing and pour everything into it. Shoutout to the FUN KILLAS for another great season and 🏆🏆
